Boots to Business offers veterans assistance in entrepreneurship

Back from deployment and ready to start your own entrepreneurial venture? Boots to Business Reboot equips veterans with the information to get their business going.

The course from the Small Business Association (SBA) and Wisconsin Women Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC) offers an opportunity for veterans, active duty and their spouses to learn the skills and resources needed to launch their own business.

The course will take a top-down approach covering fundamentals for starting a business. Attendees can expect to learn how to launch a business, develop a concept and business plan, and find SBA resources to help them out in their entrepreneurial venture.

Boots to Business is free for all veterans, active-duty members and their spouses to attend. The course will be held in Milwaukee on Aug. 17 from 8:00 am- 4:00 pm at WWBIC Milwaukee, 1533 N Rivercenter Dr. Registration is open now.
