The Bodega at Breese Stevens, showcase for small businesses, returns this summer

The Bodega Series, a monthly nighttime, local artisan market, is set to return to Madison’s Historic Breese Stevens Field for its seventh year with four dates in 2023, May 26, June 30, July 21 and August 25, according to a press release from organizers. Each event will run from 5-9 pm.

The Bodega was created with Wisconsin-based, small businesses in mind, organizers said. The Bodega at Breese Stevens Field will again welcome over 100 local food vendors and artisans, varying from a myriad of crafts, consumables, food, handcrafted jewelry, curated boutiques, and more. In addition to all of the incredible local businesses, attendees of the Bodega can also expect children’s activities, yard games, alongside beer and wine available to sip while perusing the large variety of vendors. What began as a way to engage local vendors and crafters in a sustainable community event, has blossomed into a cornerstone of summertime in Madison; a place where all are welcome to enjoy the history and atmosphere at Madison’s premier outdoor venue, Breese Stevens Field.

The Bodega is a free admission event that serves the community as a platform for small local businesses to reach shoppers in a fun, relaxing, entertaining, and safe environment, organizers said.

Gates for each Bodega will open at 5:00 pm and each .
