Red Shoes Inc., a Wisconsin-based,full-service strategic communication firm, announced Monday that it has been named a winner in PR Daily’s 2023 Media Relations Awards. The Exclusive Content Strategy category recognizes the best in the public relations business for providing exclusive stories to media outlets through strategic outreach that resulted in national coverage.
The company was recognized for its Fox Cities Marathon Campaign and its strategic placement of the story of a young boy in a wheelchair who was running his first half-marathon with his grandfather and father. After Red Shoes pitched the story exclusively to the local network TV media sponsor of this event, the story gained national attention, ultimately ending with the boy receiving a racing wheelchair, training with local track coaches and wheelchair training equipment.

Organized by PR Daily, the Media Relations Awards recognizes excellence in media relations and strategic communication nationwide.
Finalists in this year’s program were honored at a special industry event on Friday, Dec. 15, 2023 at the prestigious National Press Club in Washington, D.C., where category winners were also revealed.
