Rainey announced in a press release Wednesday.

The free event will be held at the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s Bradley Symphony Center, 212 W. Wisconsin Ave. Doors will open at 5 p.m. (featuring entertainment by DJ NuStylez) with the talkback event starting at 6 p.m. While the event is free, registration is required, and free event tickets can be secured  at this link. Only persons with tickets will be admitted to the venue.

Alderman Rainey, founder of Hip-Hop Week MKEsaid Mr. Dash’s wisdom and messages about building wealth and financial security will resonate with the Milwaukee audience.

“Dame Dash promotes a message of financial independence and ownership, working for your LAST name (legacy) and not your first. I’m excited to have him here in the City of Milwaukee to impart his wisdom and share his experiences with the people of Milwaukee for Hip-Hop Week MKE,” Alderman Rainey said in a statement.

Earlier this month, it was announced that rappers Boldy James and Stove God Cooks will be opening for Jadakiss, the headline act for this year’s Hip-Hop Week, which will run from August 21-27.

Tickets for the Jadakiss concert at The Rave can be purchased here: https://www.therave.com/concert.asp?id=7681.

Alderman Rainey said having the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra as a partner venue for Hip-Hop Week MKE 2023 is “a true blessing.”

“The Bradley Symphony Center is a spectacular and ornate gem of a space, and we are extremely excited to be able to showcase it during the Dame Dash talkback,” he said in a statement. “A huge shout-out to the MSO for allowing use of the space during Hip-Hop Week.”
