Edward Carceres joins Rock County Jumpstart as Latino support services manager

Edward Caceres has joined the Rock County Jumpstart team as our new Manager of Latino Support Services, the organization announced in an email Monday.

Carcares will develop and lead initiatives that expand on the services we provide businesses owned and operated by the Latino/Latinx community in Rock County, the email said. Rock County Jumpstart supports Black and Latino owned businesses.

Carcares is a native of Lima, Peru, and holds a degree in marketing from the Peruvian Business School (IPAE) and a master’s degree in management from Rockford University, enhancing his knowledge and skills. He has worked in a number of roles in the sustainable energy industry, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Outside of the corporate world, Edward finds joy in exploring emerging technologies like 3D printing and the multifaceted applications of artificial intelligence.

He will begin his role on a part-time basis as the expanding organization assesses its needs for the position.
