Vivent Health, a Milwaukee-based health care firm specializing in HIV care and prevention, announce last week that Brandon Hill, PhD has been named as President and CEO effective immediately. He had been serving in that role in an interim capacity for a year.
In his new role, he remains focused on ensuring high-quality, inclusive and integrated HIV care and treatment reaches people challenged by adverse social determinants of health to help them live their best lives, according to a press release.

His innovative approach, diverse perspective, and strategic thinking make him an exceptional leader to advance Vivent Health’s mission,” Arvan Chan, Chairman of the Board of Vivent Health, said in a statement. “Brandon has a track record of strong leadership and significant experience, and I have been consistentl y impressed by Brandon’s passion and vision to ensure higher and better levels of service and outcomes for our patients, our champions, and our strategic partners. The Board and I are confident that he is the right leader to lead the next chapter of Vivent Health’s success.”

Dr. Hill has an extensive background in LGBTQ+ and sexual healthcare services. Over the past year, he served as the Interim President and CEO of Vivent Health, having previously been the organization’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, leading Vivent Health’s operations and integration activities. Prior, Dr. Hill served as the Executive Director of Howard Brown Health’s Center for Education, Research, and Advocacy; President and CEO of Planned Parenthood Great Plains; and Executive Director of the University of Chicago’s adolescent sexual and reproductive health research center, Ci3.
Dr. Hill is a graduate of Indiana University, earning a doctorate in gender studies with a concentration in behavioral science and psychology. He is a member of the board of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS) and Kinsey Institute International Advisory Council.
