Have a special someone you need the perfect gift for? Or are you looking to cross off the remaining gifts on your holiday shopping lists? On Saturday December 16th from 11am – 5pm, located at the Doxa Event Center (2700 Novation Pkwy), look out for the Madison Black Chamber of Commerce’s inaugural Holiday Black Bazaar. This is a new opportunity to support over 40 black businesses, and a space to cultivate the next generation of black entrepreneurs.
“We are excited to kick off our youth entrepreneurship program,” says Camile Carter, MBCC President. “We will be working with them on an on-going basis, engaging them in vendor opportunities as well as speed mentoring and coaching at the event”.
This “one-stop shop extravaganza” has a space for all ages. Activities at this event include speed coaching and networking and a host of various black businesses that range in products developed, created, and sold. Carter tells Blueprint365, “we really wanted to provide a platform for them to catch some of those holiday sales and really connect with their clients over the season.”
Admission to the event is free with no required registration. Further inquiries about youth programs or business membership registration, or general inquiries can be made through their website at https://www.madisonblackchamber.com/.
